The NSPCC SOUL WEEKEND needed a star line up with pedigree to bring an audience from all over the UK.The BRIT FUNK ASSOCIATION is an amalgamation of members from 5 the UK bands which pioneered the UK Jazz Funk genre in the late 1970's/early 1980's; BEGGAR & CO, CENTRAL LINE, HI TENSION, INCOGNITO & LIGHT OF WORLD. The recently reformed Super Group will be performing iconic songs such as: London Town, Somebody Help Me Out, Swingin', British Hustle, Hi-Tension & There's A Reason as well as tribute cover versions of some the tracks that influenced them to create their music back in the day, such as Brass Construction & Kool & The Gang
Georgie B (AKA George Bromfield), has been singing, writing, producing and DJ'ing within the music industry for the past 40 years, starting with the hit 80’s jazz funk band Second Image and more recently with the award winning Groove Association.
As an accomplished singer / songwriter / producer and with the resurgence of the British ‘Jazz Funk’ scene, Georgie felt the time was right to go solo.

On average, a child contacts Childline and the NSPCC every 25 seconds.
The NSPCC and Childline are for children
when they have no one else to talk to and nowhere else to turn.
Whatever life has thrown at them, we're here to help them feel safe
and get their lives back on track.
Every day of the year, 24 hours a day, our counsellors are listening
and giving children and young people the support they need.
On the phone, online, anytime. It's the only service of its kind in the UK.
Right now, there are many more children out there waiting for someone to listen.
We're here to protect children but we need your support.
Please book your event pass today.

A perfect holiday destination. We thoroughly recommend this lovely seaside resort but don't just take our word for it. It offers the finest beach, beautiful hotels including the Riviera Hotel. There is so much to do and see for people of all ages, including activities on the beach, there are many cafes and bars. Perhaps a breakfast on the beach overlooking the bay, relax on a deck chair and then dance the day away back at base. Alternatively you can visit the breathtaking Nothe Fort, to wander in the lovely gardens or taste the history in the fort itself. There is always some form of entertainment going on to enhance your stay.
